Owl Party Favors

We will be celebrating a very special Birthday in May, my Mom's 75th!!  She doesn't look a day over 50!!  She is also my very best friend in the whole entire world!!  Her birthday party will be a small family party, but every party needs party favors, centerpieces, and goodie bags in my opinion!!
I started off making the party favors first… I used a file I found from Silhouette store, and since my mom and I love owls… I thought this would make a perfect party favor… right?

I decided to make the Owls one color and use a pop of color using the EOS's lip balm.  Those come in a bunch of colors, and this way I could buy them when I find them and not worry about matching paper… genius! :)
I made 8 of them for the ladies… and I plan to make some different ones for the guys…maybe!  Perhaps, they will just get a goodie bag!!  We'll see!!

"Weigh" to go!

Today is my last post as a DT member for PPPR… I have had so much fun playing with these wonderful and creative files!  I have worked with some unbelievable talented ladies!!  I will miss being a part of this amazing team, but life gets in the way, and I am not so good at balancing too many things at once…

I wanted to show you a project that I put together using these fun files!!  There are limitless possibilities with this set!

I used the darling Scale, and I know not many of us would use the word "darling" to describe your scale at home.. but isn't it cute?

I put it on a small box and then cut out kettle bells and placed a cute saying on each of them and put them in the box… This will be used as a "reward" box… so when a goal on the scale is reached, a kettle bell is chosen and there is a "reward" item on the back… (manicure, DVD, make-up…etc)  something that is non-food related!!  My clients love this, and I will change the rewards monthly so they never know what they might draw!  The element of surprise is fun!!

What do you think???  Would this motivate you to workout and reach your desired weight loss goals?

Thank you everyone that has been so thoughtful and kind to leave comments during my time with PPPR… I will still be crafting, so please come and visit me often!!  Lots of fun projects to create for you!!

Follow your Dreams

I will admit, I love these files!!  I would like to think that Lisa, at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons made them for me!!!  They are absolutely perfect for so many, many things…  My favorite sport is running, so imagine how excited I was to see the Running Shoe!!

As I sat down to make them, choosing the paper was the toughest part! It was fun to "build" my own shoe!!  I grabbed a bunch of paper as I was getting exhausted trying to find "the right colors" and got to work… I made a set of cards…  I am always looking for a quick note of encouragement or even just a note to say "hello!"  So these will be perfect!!

Here is my set of 4 cards… while I used the same file and stamp on each one, they all look so very different!!  Can't wait to get a couple of these in the mail…
