Holiday "Cheer"

Sharing a couple of "gift tags" I made for a couple of gifts we are giving this year… I know, they don't look Christmas-y but they were perfect for the gift!

I used Happy Hour and Bottle Tags from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons for my project!  These files fit perfectly every single time, so there is no cut and re-cutting when you use them.  It really makes the project go pretty quickly and smoothly!!  My kind of projects for sure…

I made the adorable little Martini guy from this file… I loved his face!  I love to stamp my own faces… I think I like using the white gel pen, but this little face was just too cute so I used it!  I glittered the eyes and the bottom of the glass, and embossed the "vodka"  I placed him on the new Bottle Tag which just happened to fit the bottle of Vodka I had in the freezer…imagine that??

I tied some curling ribbon around the stem of the glass to give it some texture… I have a friend or two in mind that will be getting this cutie for Christmas!!

Christmas Warmth

I love making Boa scarves… I think I have made one in every color… so easy to make and I love the feel of them around my neck… just enough warmth without  being bulky and hot!  I thought they would make great Christmas gifts too.

I made several of them and wanted to package them up real cute… I found some adorable files at My Scrap Chick for these cuties...

There is a shadow under his nose!
I made this adorable Santa topper and had fun embossing him.  Lots of little pieces to put together but the end result was worth it I think.

I also found this adorable Polar Bear that went together very quickly!  I made his scarf and hat the same color as the boa I put inside…

And then the snowflake… I couldn't wait to cut this one out, and failed to measure… so it is bigger than the package itself, but it worked!

What do you think?

Gift Wrapped

I love gift wrapping things… I should volunteer at a department store during the holidays just so I can wrap… NOT…but I do enjoy making my own kind of gift wrap!!

I sell Younique make-up… I absolutley love the products- especially the 3D Fiber Mascara… I like to think of it as Magic Mascara… I like to have some on hand for ladies to purchase for immediate satisfaction… so for Christmas, I thought I would package them real cute so they could be given as a gift for someone or of course as a special holiday treat for oneself!!

I found these cute boxes at MyScrapChick and just placed the box in the back, so the mascara wouldn't hide the cuteness!!  Worked perfectly!!

I love the cute Snowman… he went together so quickly!!  He reminds me of Frosty!!

I also am loving the Gingerbread man this year… so I thought I would "whip up a batch" of these little men too… what do you think??

Let me know if you wear Younique's Mascara … if you haven't tried it… make sure to check it out, as it is the Hottest make up item right now… You can order it on line and have it shipped directly to you!

Tree Cutting Time

Hi there!  It's my day to show you a super cute file from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons!
How many of you actually cut your Christmas Tree down?  I think it would be a ton of fun to drive up into the mountains and scout for that perfect Christmas Tree… I live in the desert, so no tromping through the woods, or climbing any mountains to find one… but I picture this little guy doing just that!!

I used the file, Christmas Car with this sweet little Penguin driving home with his freshly cut tree… he looks cold… Brrrrrr  I embossed the car and then added snowflake brads for the tires.  I then cut a simple box by hand.  I plan to put a small tree ornament inside and hand deliver to a friend.

What do you think?  This file would be a great card or used as a tag on a package… I would love to know how you use it!!

Check out this file and tons of other cute and festive cuts at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons!  The files are so quick and easy to put together… Thanks for stopping by!!!

Selfie Time

Personally, I think everyday is a good day for a "selfie!"  Hahahaha… I saw this adorable "Selfie- Elf" file from SVGcutting files and thought of so many different ways to use it… For my project today, I used it as a "give-away" on my Younique Business FB Page.  Absolutely perfect for what I needed… Younique is famous for our 3D Fiber Mascara- it totally magnifies your lashes 300X…I won't use any other mascara!!

So I thought to get the word out and a little traffic to my new page, I would have those that have purchased the mascara to take a "Selfie,"  post on their page and link back to mine… that gets them a chance to win a Lip Gloss!  Just in time for the holidays!!

I made several of them with some different hair and eye colors… I think they turned out just darling!!  What do you think??

P.S.  If you are interested in checking out the famous Younique Mascara everyone is talking about… check out my website!

Fall Entertaining Blog Hop!!

Welcome to the Fall Entertaining Blog Hop!!  You are in for a real treat!!  The PPPR DT has lots of creative ideas for your Thanksgiving Holiday!!  If you came here from Shannon's blog, you are in the right place.  If you just stumbled upon this post and would like to start from the beginning, please visit the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons blog.

Today, I made a cute “take-home” favor for my Thanksgiving guests.  It seems that everyone is so “stuffed” from dinner, that some guests opt to take home a piece of pie, and eat much later… so I thought I could send my guests home with coffee and pie in a creative way.

I put together the “ever-so-clever” K-Cup carrier for the coffee pods.  It is perfect for any occasion.  I also used the Count Your Blessings phrase to the front of it…given the Thanksgiving Day theme!

What do you think??  Gives a whole new meaning to "coffee to go!"

The blog candy for this hop is a $15 GC to the PPPR store. For a chance to win, you must be a follower of each blog and leave a comment on each blog.

Acorns a Plenty!!

Hi,  it's my day to show off another cute, cute file from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons!!

For my project today, I am using the Acorn Faces.  There are four adorable faces to choose, and each one has its own character… I chose this time around to use a stamp for the face… but the faces that come with the Acorns definitely make you smile!!

I used the Acorns as a topper for my project.  I embossed the top and stuck him on a 3X3 (folded in half) piece of card stock.  These took absolutely no time at all to make…my kind of project when I am in a hurry!!

These were so very cute, I thought not only do they look fantastic for my project, they would also make darling place cards or cute tags for a Hostess Gift… (that time of year!)

What do you think??
