Harvest Crate

I loved this the minute I saw the file for it... so rustic and old fashioned I think.  I bought the file from SVGCuts, and couldn't wait to make it!
I went plain on the papers, as I really just wanted a "crate."  I put it together using my glue gun, which I think held it nice and tight...and then I embellished it with silk leaves and bow.  What do you think?

I made it as a "Thank You" for my neighbors who watched my fur babies while I was away last weekend!   Filled it with thei favorite candy and gift cards... I have the best neighbors!!

As always, thanks for looking...

Bucket List

Everyone has a "bucket-list!"  Things and places we want to see and do before its too late!!!  I really have to think about a few of them, I want them to be somewhat realistic, not just a dream that will never come true-- like hang-gliding-- something I always thought I wanted to do... but I would no more jump off a cliff these days than jump to the moon!!  So I will give it some thought, and write them down and then make them happen!!

It just so happens, that one I have had on my "list" for quite some time- 5 years to be exact- is to run the Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco!!  I have entered the lottery each and every year, and this was my YEAR!!  Feeling very blessed to be running a race that every woman wants to run-just once!!  Running it Oct 20, 2013!!

#1 reason:  Finish line!!!  It is lined with Firemen handing out little "blue boxes!" ( Tiffany)  C'mon... even if you are not a runner... you would want to experience this... right???

Well, I found this darling cut on Pinterest.  Lots of cute things found Here.   "My Bucket List"  What's on your Bucket List??

PPPR Guest Designer

Very excited to have been chosen to Guest Design for ... Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons blog... Her files are so easy to put together as they fit just right, it makes your final project look like you spent hours and hours putting them together!!

I had so much fun, I made a couple of super cute things to show off today... I used the Halloween Critters Cutting files for my projects today.

I went "batty" with this card, isn't he cute?  He kind of came to life in my craft room, as I created him late at night, so to take the scare out of... me, I added a bow!  Hahaha... He is just perfect for a fun-sized candy bar inside!

Next up is the "goofy" ghost.  I absolutely love him.
I cut him out of glitter paper and using dimensionals I made his eyes "pop!"
I embossed the holder with a haunted house folder... I think it turned out amazing!
I put him on a round container I made so I could put a koozie inside of it.
I put a smaller ghost cut out of vinyl on the foam koozie and Voila!!  Perfect for gift giving...
Last but not least... check out these "Silly Spiders!!!"

I love glass blocks lit up at night... and what an awesome Halloween treat this would be for the little-ones that Trick O' Treat at my front door??
I used the spider web as the background and then added Mr. and Mrs. Spider to join the festivities.  I loved the colors and if you look really close, you can see their fangs...( I kept telling everyone, spiders have fangs!!!)  Hahahaha...
Thank you Lisa, for the opportunity to show off your files... they are so much fun to work with and your files help me look like a genius!!  Visit Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons to purchase these fun files and so many, many more!

Decorative lantern

Love this lantern!!  It could be used for ANY occasion!  I chose Halloween, of course!!

I think choosing paper is the hardest part for me, and I wanted something with color, but not obnoxious.  I cut the velum and ran it through my cuttlebug using the "spider web" which I thought was kind of fun!

It needed something, so I made bow using the Bow-dabra, and hot glued it to the top.  It still needed something, so I added plastic spiders which was perfect!

These would make wonderful party decorations- for almost any occasion.  I am not sure I would want to put a ton together, maybe I was just too tired.  I'll make another one, just for fun!!

The cut is from SVGCuts.
Battery operated tea light inside!!
