Tea Box

I made one of these awhile back, and I wanted to make another one, since I would be showing my mom how to make one soon.  I am glad I made it as this one took me a bit longer...

I think these boxes are so pretty when done, and I think they would make a lovely gift for someone who drinks tea, herbal or regular.  I have mine sitting on my desk at work, and get a few compliments now and then...  This one turned out pretty too...

Thanks for the helping "hand..."

Click on pic to see it correctly...

I thought this would be a great "Thank-You" gift!  I saw this cut on Sentimental... a cartridge I never use... and thought if it was paired with hand lotion or nail polish it would be a great token of thanks!
I cut it at 4' and using a dimensional I adhered it to a tube of lotion... thoughts?

**Excuse the pictures... not sure why they have been posting so screwy lately!!  Click on the picture for a clear look...**

Card File

I love Sock Monkey's and I don't even own a real one!!  I wonder how that happened... Hahahahahaha... I found some really cute Sock Monkey paper and bought a ton of it... now, what to do with it all?
Don't know why this picture shows it distorted... its taller and not so fat!

I have wanted to make the "magazine box" from Artiste for awhile... and thought... hmm... how cute would a Sock Monkey box be... well?  Pretty darn cute!  I wasn't sure what exactly to put in it, so I thought some cards would be nice to have on I cut out some Sock Monkey's using B is for Boy... so what do you think?

The Sock Monkey's were cut at 3" and wow, were the parts tiny!!  Not sure I'll give the cards away, I couldn't bare the thought of someone tossing it after it took so long to glue each tiny piece!  Hahahhahaha

Summer Treats!

I played a little in the CCR and boy, that will take some getting used to... I think I like my Gypsy better or maybe I am just used to it... I loved the 3D cone set and had to have it!  Once I figured out the sizing, I got them done pretty quick!!  Oh, the possibilities with these...

I went Pink and girly... but they turned out sweet.  I cut them at 5" and cut the dolls at 2-1/2" and oval at 2"  They went together pretty quickly!  I plan to put kisses in these...Who would like one?

Party Favors

Another party for my hubby... every year I throw him a party for his birthday, which happens to fall on Cinco de Mayo.  My favorite part about hosting a party is making party favors, which I don't think my hubby understands.  It takes me a while to make 30-40 party favors as he continues to invite people right up to the day of the party, even though I send an Evite- with RSVP instructions.  it's no fun to make party favors if you don't have enough for everyone.

I made enough for those that RSVP'd and a couple of extras... so hopefully, there will be enough!

I went with a Cinco de Mayo theme...I made boxes from Artiste cut at 11" and the lizard was cut at 2.50".  I did bright colors, and I think they turned out nicely.  I baked sugar cookies in the shape of Saguaros- note:  very delicate cookie cutter!!  Yikes!  There you go... easy this year!!!
