Big Foot Sighting

Do you believe there is truly a Big Foot walking through the forrest somewhere?  I have to say there have been many sightings of this BIG creature...and he has been spotted on my blog!  Hahahaha... I found this cute Big Foot and thought he would be cute for so many things until I cut him out 6 times and can't think of a thing now to do with him...
I flocked his fur... it made a mess, but gave him some texture.  Here he is on a couple of cards for now...I have a couple left, so look for him on something else in the future!

I thought these turned out really pretty.  They would make a nice gift for someone going through treatment or for a Survivor of BC.  I am so thankful everyday, that my mom is a Survivor.
I have several glasses left over from my Hubby's party, and thought I might as well put them to good use.  I cut the word Hope out of pink vinyl and then cut out various sizes of the BC ribbon and placed around the glass...what do you think?

Hard to see the little ribbons.

S'more Fun

Well, I have seen this idea lately, and what better time of year than summer!!  I used to love to go to the mountains and roast marshmallows... I would burn them, as I like them "well-done!"  Since, I don't live near the beautiful Idaho/Utah mountains any longer, I needed to find a way to "roast" a marshmallow the easy way...microwave!  Hahaha
I made this cute little guy on Campin' Critters and he is perfect for this!!  ( This is the main reason I bought this cartridge!!)  I cut him at 3" along with the layers and stuck him on a bag!  Notice that the marshmallow is flocked... to add some texture!
The bags contain a "do-it-yourself" type of S'more.  Are these about the biggest marshmallows ever??  Yummy!!

Adorable Monkey

Well, I couldn't get enough of this little guy!!  I purchased wine glasses from the $ Store, and thought, "Now, wouldn't he be cute on a wine glass?"  Well, here he is... now I cut him at 2-1/4" in vinyl and I will say the little tiny pieces were tough to piece together, but once he was complete... he couldn't wait to get on the glass!!  I cut a little heart from DoodleCharms in different sizes and stuck on the glasses as well...Cute?

Sock Monkey Cards

I am on a High Performance Ladies Team sponsored by Lin Socks, and the Ladies on the team are doing a Card Swap!  Well, what better "mascot" could I find, but a Sock Monkey!!  ( I loved the Sock Monkey, so I needed an excuse!)  I cut the Sock Monkey at 3-1/2" inches and popped them up on a card.  Didn't they turn out so cute??  Tell me, who wouldn't want to get this card in the mail...I think he would cheer you right up!!  Don't you think??  Sending them out in the mail this week...

I saw this cute idea a long time ago on the Internet, and I thought I would try to make them!  Now, finding the Rolo Candy was a chore.  In the past I have seen them at every checkout stand with candy, but now, that I am looking for them, I had to go to a couple of stores before I found the Rolo candy in a roll!!  Hahaha

These are the easiest things to make!  I "eyeballed" the wrapper size... 4" X 3 and something... and then I wrapped the candy, removing the original wrapper first.  Glued the wrapper on, and then did the same for 2 more rolls... hot glued them together and then wrapped them with a black pipe cleaner and Voila!  I used WC2 for the phrase- "You're the Bomb" and then for the single stick of dynomite, I used CAC for the phrase, "dinomite."   I think they turned out cute... I have a couple of folks that I would like to mail them to... but not sure putting these in the mail would be a great idea..?

Father's Day cards

I bought the WildCard 2 cartridge and thought I would try it out with some Father's Day cards... not sure I am too impressed with the cartridge.   I think the images are a little bit immature,,, just my opinion!  I made a card for my Hubby and FIL.. I couldn't find the right one for my dad in that booklet! But here are the two I finished thus far... keep in mind I don't enjoy the card making part of paper crafting...
