Halloween Cheers!

I found these "cozy's" at Michael's for $1.00 and thought they would make great Halloween Drink holders...lucky here in AZ, we have warm temperatures for the little Trick O' Treaters, so usually the neighbors all sit outside on our front driveway's and pass out candy!  So of course, passing out candy can make one thirsty... so I figured I would need something cute to hold my drink in... hahhaha

I used Celebrate with Flourish (lite) and cut out this adorable witch in vinyl and adhered to the "cozy!"
Cheers!!

Birthday Card

OK... this was made for a friend who is a Dr. in Biology.  Not a favorite subject of mine as I never liked the whole Frog thing... but, I had an idea in my mind and it was cute... the card???  Not so much!  Hahahhaha
I used EDPD and made the Chemist... I think he was darling but I wanted to use hair for a girl... so it didn't have the same effect!  I made a gate card, as I thought it would be something a little different...I am putting this in the mail quickly, so I don't have to look at it again...

Check out one of my favorite card making blogs, A Day in the Life of Horse Bunny!  So many cute, cute cards!!!

Peanuts Cards

Now, I am probably the only one that doesn't like the cartoon Peanuts....Sure, I love the Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin and the Charlie Brown's Christmas Tree...but I never understood the characters, and a dog that never talks!!  Lucy was my favorite character as I felt sorry for Charlie Brown, and I love Peppermint Patties...oh, wait...that is a candy bar...right?  Oh well... I found these buttons at Michael's on clearance and liked the Snoopy one... so I bought them and thought I could make a great cheery card..or three?  There was a fourth button, but I didn't understand what the point of it was... so I probably threw it away...or at least I should...
I made rosettes...(what's new???)  and I adhered the button on them using my glue gun.... They turned out OK... I will use them at some point in time... just wanted to share!

Pumpkin Hand Sanitizers

I mentioned that I bought enough Hand Sanitizers from Bath and Body Works to make more of these... so I figured I would get them done...I didn't want "spooky" Halloween hand sanitizers left AFTER Halloween... what it s the fun in giving it to someone then???  Hahhaha
Anyways, I used the pumpkin from Gypsy Wanderings... it had a cute face, and I punched out a yellow circle to put behind the face so it looked like it was "lit-up!"  Turned out cute...right?
Thanks for looking!!!

Lady Bug Box

OK, so I just had to show you one more cute little card box.  This one was fun to make as I love the colors of a Ladybug.  I decided to make it a little more uniform as all the cards and the front of the box match.  I have to say that it was a little easier to make that way.
I used the darling Ladybug from CAC and the grass stem/branch from that cartridge as well.  Added a little bling and Voila!  Easy enough!
As always, thanks for stopping by, and leaving such kind comments!  Really, I have some of the most thoughtful followers ever... maybe it's about time to do another " Follower Appreciation Week!!"

Drawer Box

I have to say, this was one of the most fun projects I have done!  It really took no time at all to make, except for the cards- Hahaha
I saw this box on Splitcoasters, and thought what a darling way to give a set of cards to someone.  My mom loves to get cards that I make...(so she says...) and I usually clump them in an oversized cello bag and put a topper on it...which has been OK...but oh, look how cute this is... Not only could you use this for cards, but a small gift, or something they could use after they have mailed all the cards.  Just a cute little drawer...can't wait to make more as gifts!
I used OUAP cartridge for the Frog and Princessess.  Click HERE for the intstructions for making the drawer.  Thanks for looking, and as always, thanks for leaving a comment!

Spooky Hand Sanitzers

This is the time of year that everyone gets sick!  I think because children go back to school and bring home lots of little "germy-friends!"  I found this adorable tutorial from Dawn's Stamping Thoughts blog... she has a ton of cute projects on there...This one is a couple of years old.  I had seen it before but it wasn't until I saw it again on Paper Boutique's  her-Fab Five- blog recently that I had to break down and make them!!

I love that she shows her top 5 blogs of the week, one day I will be on there...Hahahhahaahahhaha...but until then, these are very easy instructions and so very easy to whip a few of these up in no time at all!  Too bad, the sanitizers cost $$ or I would hand these out as my "Trick o 'Treat" candy to the little ones... Hahahaha

I found the hand sanitizers at Bath and Body Works, 8 for $5.00!!!!  They are the Halloween ones, and I am sure that after Halloween they will be FREE... but I bought enough to make 16 of these...Very cute and festive.  I think these done up at Christmas time would be a great stocking stuffer or a nice little gift for a Teacher...got to take care of our Teachers!!
I used DoodleCharms for the spider and Simply Charmed for the ghost... enjoy!!

Doctor Card

I have a friend, a World Class Athlete, get hit by a car last week, while doing her final  training ride on her bike before the World Competition in Spain!  Broke her back in 3 places, cut her liver, and sliced her calf, along with road rash, and bruises...my goodness! Believe it or not, she was sitting up the next day...
I wanted to send her some cards while she is recovering, and this is the first one...
I made a card similar to this one for my Step-daughter a few months back...it came to mind and I duplicated it a little...a few changes, but pretty much the same!  It is an easel card...I forgot how to make them...so it was a good review for me!  I cut the Doctor and bag from EDPD and the band aid from the Every day Pop-up Card cartridge...I hope it cheers her up a little...

P.S. Public Service Announcement:  Please give cyclists at least 3 feet as you pass them!  Cyclists and Runners are not out to irritate drivers...share the road with us, please!!

Winged-Monsters

I was going to get some Halloween cards made using Mini-Monsters, as it has some really cute cards.  I saw this particular cut and thought it would make a great and easy card.  I cut it at 5.50" the size I usually make my cards, and it came out almost like a "gift tag."  So After I put them together, they were just too small to send in the mail, and I really didn't need a little gift card... so I decided they would work perfectly as a Treat Topper!  Perfect size!!

Filtered Water

Most of you by now, know that I run!  My two favorite hobbies are running and crafting... not sure which one I like best!  They both offer self satisfaction, and both are therapeutic!
I have blogs for both:  The Running Turtle, and Tina Time.

I do a lot of long distance running, and I have at several times run out of water, and if I am ever so "lucky", I am near a water fountain to fill up...which means unfiltered water, that can cause severe stomach problems 10 miles from home... so I have been stalking the retailers for the Brita Water bottle...I finally found one, and to my surprise, it isn't all I thought it would be, but I am going to try it out.  It only holds 16 oz and not sure I can freeze the plastic bottle like normal...kind of thin...but it may be a life saver to take a spare and fill up anywhere!  Of course, I had to personalize it...hahahahaha

Rock Princess

My Step-daughter's birthday is coming up soon, and thought I had better a get a card made so we can get it in the mail!  Using Rock Princess, I cut out this little "Rocker chic" I think this is the cutest one on there... I cut it out at 4.75" and it was a little bigger than I thought it would be.  I made a 6X6 card so that the image would fit.  What do you think?  She turned out cute huh?  I think I will make one for me!  Hahaha
Hope she likes it!!

Day 2 Autumn Blog Hop

Welcome back to day 2 of the Autumn Blog Hop!!  I hope you found me by way of Denise's blog!!  If not and you would like to join the Hop from the beginning...please visit our Hostess, Kathryn!  She has done a lot of work putting this Hop together!!

Living in AZ, I forget what the fall was like... Hahahaha...chilly mornings, change of color, and oh, yes, the Scarecrows that used to be in neighbors front yards that would scare the crap out of you at night...I swear I saw them move once...I think it would be fun to put a scarecrow in my front yard and scare the neighbors...but I am afraid it would catch on fire...straw/extreme heat=FIRE!!  So instead, I'll make paper ones to enjoy inside!
Using Simply Charmed I cut these cute scarecrows at 5.50".  I welded them into cards, so I could get them to stand up!  I think they turned out rather cute...and the only thing that will make these move...is my A/C!
Enjoy!!

I truly want to thank each of you for coming and visiting my humble blog!  I so enjoy your kind and thoughtful comments!  You are now off to visit Krista's blog!

Autumn Blog Hop

Welcome to Tina Time!  You found your way here from Denise's  blog.  If you would like to start the hop from the beginning, please start with our wonderful hostess, Kathryn.

I love the Fall, but here in AZ we really don't experience the change of seasons much.  It goes from Warm to warmer to HOT- back down to warm...not complaining... I grew up in the Northwest, so I have certainly had my share of COLD weather!!!

I thought of something that I miss most about fall, and that was the changing of the leaves.  I used Wrap It Up and cut out the "fence-box."  I cut out leaves and the pumpkin from Paper Dolls.  Very easy treat box to make for all seasons, really!  The box was cut fit to page at 10."

Spooky Cards

I bought Mini Monsters awhile back...and thought now was the perfect time to bring it out and use it!  I bought it for the cute card feature... well, I cut one card and I am not impressed!  The mouth on the pumpkin was cut out so the "mouth-teeth" had to be put on the inside of the card?  I must not have done something right, or maybe this is how this particular card is supposed to be put together...Not sure, but they turned out cute!  Just not a lot of space to write anything on the inside...maybe that's a good thing!!!

Spider Fun

If there is one thing you should know about me... that is my fear of SPIDERS...big or small, I don't like them!  But, this little spider actually is kind of cute, and non threatening-Hahahahhaha
I found these little plastic totes at Target and thought, something cute could be put on those... so I came home pulled out my vinyl and VOILA!!  I used the spider from Mini Monsters...

Trick or Treat box

I admit, Halloween is one of my most favorite holidays!  I think there are so many cute and fun ways to decorate for Halloween, and after all, isn't it really all about that?  I plan to make a lot of Halloween decorations and treats again this year, so be prepared to see many Halloween items on my blog, between now and the end of October!  Maybe, by then, I'll be ready for a little Christmas Cheer!

Using Sweet Tooth Boxes, I decided to decorate one with a Halloween theme!  Using my Gypsy, I cut out the shape of a pumpkin on the front of the box, and put some plastic behind it.  I used my cuttle bug, not sure if it shows very well in the pictures, but it is a spider web!  I cut two spiders using Doodlecharms and adhered to the box with a bow!  Inside, I used some Halloween paper to make the "cupcake" holders.  What do you think?
