What can I vinyl today???

If there is one thing I love to cut on my Cricut- it would have to be vinyl!  Seriously, I cannot believe how something so plain can become so decorative within minutes!
I had to have this Cupcake holder-(because my mom got one!)  Once, I saw it, I knew that I would have to put something on it so I would know it was mine!!  So out came the vinyl and my Storybook Cartridge and voila!  I love it!  I can't wait to make cupcakes or something yummy so I can take it somewhere!!  hahaha
maybe it needs something more...?
Of course, I bought some new doggie dishes- and needed to put my boys names on them, you know.. .so they would know who's is who's!!  They are funny like that!!  I bought some real cheap ones at Pet Smart so that I could vinyl them...the one's I really liked already had something cute on them.

Treats

I try and take a "little something" to our Sushi boys when we go and eat!  Since it is my birthday month, I decided to take them a little birthday treat!  I made these up real quick, as they were very simple to make.  I measured a rectangle 10-1/2 X 3-1/2 scored it and thread ribbon through the top.  I stuck two snack sized peanut M&M's inside!  A real cute and quick party favor!  No, they are not McDonald's french fries...hahahaha

Party with the Dogs!!

What do you take to a Weineweimer's birthday party?   A bottle of "Wein" of course!  Hahahaha-  I made a wine tote for my neighbor- hopefully, she won't share with the dog (Lilly)... there will be plenty of dog bones!!
Using Sweethearts- I cut the dog and the paw prints from Paper Pups.  I used boa for the trim... I just loved how that looked... and then for the handle I punched paw prints...  I think it turned out pretty "doggone" cute!

"Hoppy" Easter

I made these adorable little "ducks" using Just Because Cards.  I cut them at 4" which was a little small to work with, but they were the right size for what I needed.  It was the first time I have ever used flock, so I was anxious to try it out!  EASY!  I flocked the wings, legs, and beak of the Duck... and it gave it a nice fuzzy feel!
Used Wrap It Up for the picket fence box, which I cut at 8" cut the base the same, and glued them all together.  I stuck the duck on the fence and added some ribbon.  Kind of cute...huh?  As always, thanks for looking!

Baby Shower goodies

I wanted to share what I made for a baby shower I was invited to...I made a caddy-box and filled with baby essentials- powder/lotions/ and booties.  I used Kate's ABC's for the little shoes.  I think it turned out darling, if I do say so myself! Hahaha... I then bought several cute little girl outfits and was going to spend over $5.00 for a gift bag... I thought... I could make one just as easy!  Hahahaha- famous last words!
I bought a plain white bag at Michael's and used Kate's ABC's again for the little dress... I wanted the two to match!  I then dusted off my Bowdabra I bought over 100 years ago, to make a bow... no laughing... this is what I came up with... need some practice- huh?  Oh, well!  Done and I am ready to go to the baby shower!  The card is a 3X3 using Simply Charmed Cartridge.  Thanks for looking!

Easter Decorations

Had to make a couple more for Easter.  They are just too darn fun and I think they would add some cuteness at a dinner table or for brunch!  I tried to keep them simple, and that is not easy for me, as I really like to bling stuff up!  I will probably make some of these as party decorations for my Hubby's birthday in a  couple of months... so, you will be seeing more of these I am sure!  Thanks for looking!

Chicken Soup

I decided to use a cartridge that I HAD to have and yet, never used...so I looked at Just Because Cards for the second time! ( Sill deciding if I like this one)  I found the rooster and thought, I would make some Soup Pockets!  Cut out the Rooster- 3-3/4", but had a heck of a time trying to figure out the layering, since the picture is so tiny!!  I just did my own thing, and covered it real well with some bling!  Made the Soup Pockets and stuck them on the top!  Now, when someone is sick with a cold...  I have just the thing!  Hahaha-  Thanks for stopping by...it always makes my day!

Car Tattoo

Call these addicting!!  Hahahaha... I haven't used vinyl in awhile and I wanted to make "something"  so I thought of a car tattoo.  I had a runner girl on there that I cut from Car Decals... she was adorable!  However, I thought it was time to switch it up, so unlike skin tattoo's, I removed the the runner girl, and put this decal in her place!  I was real happy about the way it turned out!  I tried to take a picture of it on my car window, but too much reflection!  But, I will tell you it looks great!  Not too big, and not too small- just right!

Let there be LIGHT!

Hahaha- Well, I have been dying to make Luminaries for the longest time!  I really wanted to make some for Halloween last year, but was too "scared" to try!  So, I thought, it is on my list of things to make "someday" and I went for it!  These were probably the EASIEST things in the world to make!
I welded shapes from the Gypsy onto a 3X 11" rectangle, scored, used transparent paper for backing, and taped and decorated!!!  You will probably be seeing more of these on my blog going forward... oh, the possibilities... here are a couple... and then I will post some more later this week!
These are a couple that I made for a friends Dog's Birthday party... yes, we are dog/animal lovers and of course I had to make one to represent the color of her dogs, plus mine!  I couldn't leave out my precious Ollie and Dexter!!!  Thanks for looking!!

They are paw prints although at first glance they look like Mickey Mouse gloves... Hahahaha

Dad's Birthday Card

You will probably not find a more genuine "COWBOY" than my dad.  So this card was perfect for him this year!  I made a gate card, using the cowboy boot- forget which cartridge I used- and welded it to the front, and then using pop dots, placed the cowboy boot on top.  Simple- but perfect!  Happy Birthday!!
Thanks for looking!!

Welcome back today for the 2nd round of "It's All About the Green" Blog Hop!  If you are following the Hop, then you are joining me from Yolanda's awesome blog!
I decided to stay with the St. Patrick's Day theme for day two.  I made 2 cards using the gate fold technique from She's a Sassy Lady's blog.  I welded the Leprechauns from the Simply Charmed cartridge to the front and then made a separate Leprechaun to "pop" on the card.  Used Peachy Keen stamps for the faces and did a little embossing with the Cuttlebug.  These were so fun to make- as I rarely make St. Patty's Day cards!

If you are "LUCKY" you might win the blog candy!  Please leave me a comment on today's and yesterday's post to be eligible for the drawing- Monday, March 7th.

Beauty in a jar

I found this adorable cut on Kate's ABC's and it reminded me of my mothers mason jars she would use to can fruits and vegetables- while us kids, had other uses for them!  I thought this was so cute!  I welded the jar with my G to make a card and gave the butterflies a little dimension.  I cut the pillow box from the Wedding cartridge.  This will make a great gift set.  Thanks for looking!

Springtime is here...

I found another cute cut on Kate's ABC's that just needed to be put on something special...so I decided to make a seed pocket!  I cut card stock 9-1/2 X 4/-1/2 and scored at 4-3/4 and glued together.  Made a band to go around it cut at 2 X 10"   Very simple to make!  The colors I used scream Spring don't they?
