Car magnets

I just couldn't wait to try out the Magnet material from PC. I needed a deep blade to cut out the material...and of course, my favorite vinyl material! I really think I could vinyl my whole house, it so so fun to play with! Anyways...
Using the Paisley cartridge, I cut out the tennis shoes as the base for the magnet. I used Plantin Schoolbook for the numbers, and put them all together!
I have well enough earned the 13.1 magnet, and working on the 26.2 (October) but I thought I might as well go ahead and cut them both at the same time. I plan to put these on my car bumper as I am proud to be a runner and what a perfect way to show it. There are magnets out there already, that I have wanted to buy, but... I thought I would make mine unique!!!
Thanks for looking!

Anniversary Card

Our 11th Wedding anniversary is right around the corner, July 4th, to be exact. I love the Sweethearts cartridge, it has so many wonderful cuts on it. I chose this one, not only because it is "romantic" but it reminded me of our first date!

Father's Day Card

Vito will be going "home" (New York) next month, and will be taking his Dad to see a Yankee game! First time in the new stadium! It will be a surprise for his dad, who is in his 80's! So I thought maybe we could send him a card with a "copy" of the tickets to him for Father's Day! I think he will have a "ball!"
The card is very basic/simple, but I liked the way it turned out! I used A Child's Year cartridge, and used "Yankee" colors!
Thanks for looking!

Birdhouse

Oh, this one was fun to make! I had lots of ideas for this little bird, but I couldn't make them work in my head, so this is what I came up with.
Yes, I used CAC again! I cut the bird at 3" and the house at 5"ish. I welded the house in Gypsy to make a shape card. Using the Cuttlebug along the bottom, I think I used the wrong side of the embossing folder, as the flowers don't stand out but rather "stamped" but no one will notice...right? The roof needed something... I tried ribbons, primas, other embellishments that I had.. and nothing in my stash of goodies seemed to "jump-out" at me!!

Dog Card

Here is another card made from CAC. This dog turned out cute, once I figured out which face I should use from the Peachy Keen Critter Faces. I am not a big fan of card making, I like to make cards, but I rarely send them or have a need to send such a cute card in the mail, except maybe to my Mother. I just like to make the images and then not really sure what to do with them! I have had this stamp for some time now, and wanted to use it. The card was going to have an entirely different look, but I couldn't find the adorable paw- print ribbon that I purchased months ago, for just such a card as this one!
I may have to give CAC a rest, as there are so many other wonderful cartridges to play with! Thanks for stopping by...

Create a Critter

I just had to try out my new Peachy Keen stamps. The faces on this set is absolutely adorable! If you own CAC, then the stamps are a must!!!
Anyways, I cut out the apple with my Gypsy, welding two apples together making a shape card. I used the hide/contour feature to remove the "face" on the apple... what apple has a face anyways...? I did the same with the little worm, so I could add my own face! Tell me what you think?

Mr. Peanut

This cut was one of the reasons I bought this cartridge! ( CAC) He is so darn cute! I wanted to make him, but I couldn't think of what I would use him for... It drove me "Nuts!!" Thank heavens Father's day is just around the corner, so I decided he would make a perfect little gift bag!

I cut Mr. Peanut at 3" and filled a cello bag with peanuts, cashews, almonds and a Hershey bar and... there you have it! So easy!

Both of our Dad's live out of town, so couple this with Gift card or check- Perfect!

BTW... I really need some cute stamps! This was all I had that fit the "occasion."

Create a Critter

I made a gable-like box using a pattern from a site I googled from http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/gablebox/ I loved how easy this box was to put together. I also love my CAC cartridge and can't seem to get enough of it lately! I thought the "Bug" was darling so I had to make her. This is a "thank-you" for a friend.
Let me know what you think? I do think the next time I make one of these boxes, I will put it through the Cuttlebug before I fold it into the box. It seems to be missing something...

Create a Critter

Made these baskets using CAC. I love that cartridge! I got the idea from http://livingorganizedchaos.blogspot.com/ She is very talented! She had the cutest little ladybug basket, and I just had to make one! While, I was at it, I threw in the Hedgehog!
I just recently ordered the Critter stamp set from Peachy Keen Stamps, and I can't wait to make more Critters!
